    Matt, thanks for this timely word. I was actually meeting with someone in my small group last night about leadership opportunities that interested him. These words echoed in my head.
    Developing leaders over the long term is the key. I think that we have a very “job-search” way of finding leaders. We flip through resumes when we have need, looking for the perfect fit. Rarely do we concern ourselves with creating that perfect fit over the long haul.

    I totally agree with this quote. I believe in giving people a chance that I think could be great leaders but maybe just haven’t had to opportunity to show their skills. Nice find!
